GEC MISSION STATEMENT:
To help the Puget Sound game community increase future potential through education, reducing risk with our low cost employment events, and help forge new relationships with educational and business institutions to keep Puget Sound gaming strong, and ahead of the curve!
GEC 2009 OBJECTIVE:
For our first year, GEC will focus on establishing a mutually beneficial environment where game companies can invest their knowledge in the next generation of game developers, and in return for a small amount of their time, game companies get face time with thousands of job seekers!

2. GEC is run by volunteer & student staffers, which is why the attendance costs for our events are so cheap. Most of our staffers are employed in the game industry right now, and are just volunteering their time to help keep Puget Sound strong!
4. Between 2008 - 2009 we will offer hundreds of educational waivers and discounts to be distributed by the public education system, and by the teachers themselves.
5. At least 5% of the profits from every educational job fair hosted by GEC will be donated to local non-profit charities such as Child's Play ( responsible for delivering over 1.3 million dollars of easily cleaned, sterile toys to children's hospitals all across the United States ).
